Community Futures; Business Resiliency Project

On August 24th Community Futures will be launching the Building Business Resiliency Program. This 8-month program is being brought to our community by a collaboration of three Community Futures offices (CF Alberta Southwest, CF Crowsnest Pass and CF Highwood) in response to the impact COVID-19 has had and continues to have on the many small and medium sized businesses in our rural communities.

“Building Business Resiliency” is perfect for business owners who have had to change their business model, been required to pivot their operations, and would like to receive additional support in the form of coaching and educational webinars, to successfully navigate the new business landscape. The intent of the program is to increase the chances of businesses’ recovery and continued operation/retention.

Over the next 8-months, we will offer 28 group coaching workshops as well as the opportunity to work with one or more of our experienced business coaches in one-on-one coaching sessions. In addition, 7 educational series will be offered that will focus on a range of topics, such as finance, e-commerce, and Human Resources.

All group coaching workshops, one-on-one coaching sessions and educational series will be offered free of charge. Advance registration is required.

The launch webinar – “Ask the Coaches” will be held ONLINE
