Water
The Town is serviced by a 1,000,000 imperial gallon concrete water réservoir. This réservoir was installed in 1991 and is:
- below-ground
- cast in placed
- supplied by three shallow wells west of Black Diamond.
The well water is treated in a facility just adjacent to the Sheep River and meets all Alberta Public Health and Alberta Environmental Drinking Standards.

Garbage Disposal
The Town provides automated residential garbage collection. Residents must purchase one common 295 litre plastic bin for waste disposal. There is a weekly automated collection of these bins.
