Diamond Valley Taxi Service is the authorized taxi service provider for the Diamond Valley Subsidized Taxi Fare Program, providing subsidized fares to our qualified residents.
Highway Access
Black Diamond is served by well-maintained, paved two-lane highways from three directions - east, north and south.
Highway 22
- runs south toward the Crowsnest Pass (via Highway 3) or north through Bragg Creek to the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1), which is the Calgary-Banff corridor.
Highway 7
- runs east to Okotoks and connects with Highway 2, Alberta's principal north-south highway transportation corridor
Air Service
The Calgary International Airport is approximately an hour away and is serviced by both international and domestic airlines.

Greyhound bus depots are located in:
- Okotoks (21 km east)
- High River (40 km southeast)
