The BLACK DIAMOND SPECIAL EVENTS SUB-COMMITTEE is a sub-committee, under the leadership of the EDC, is a volunteer-based group in charge of planning our annual community events, which include:
  • the Diamond Valley Parade,
  • Canada Day Celebration,
  • Marv's Rock and Roll Classic, and
  • the Diamond Valley Christmas Light-Up.

MEETINGS
Our meetings are open to the public and we welcome anyone interested in sitting in, observing  and/or volunteering some time.

The Special Events Committee meets at 7:30pm on the 3rd Thursday of every month January through June and September through November, at  the town office.
