2012 SENIORS APPRECIATION LUNCHEON
Seniors are invited out to an appreciation luncheon each June. FCSS would like to extend a heart-felt "Thank you" to Linda Nelson and Andy Melnyk of Black Diamond for making the Seniors Appreciation Luncheon possible on the 8th of June this year. The luncheon was held at the Griffith Centre with plenty of food for all and some unique entertainment by John Glawson (Ol' Ugly) who commented that "They were a very warm crowd and I did enjoy performing for them". Thank you to all seniors who attended and helped make the afternoon special. Our seniors make a difference in our communities every day, from supporting family members and friends to assisting charities and volunteering. Seniors are deeply involved in our communities and their contributions benefit Albertans of all ages. We were happy to have the opportunity to show our appreciation to them during Seniors Appreciation Week 2012. Please be sure to join us in June again next year!
