We extend an invitation to any Black Diamond resident or business owner who is interested in learning or participating in the projects the EDC has on the go, or even grooming for a future seat on the committee. SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE - Sub-committee of the EDC
Volunteer needs -
1) Event Day volunteers - We are also looking for volunteers willing to donate as little or as much time as they want to help in the organizing and/or lend a hand on the day of upcoming special events - NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. When you see the smiles at our parades and festivals as a result of the efforts of our volunteers, you can't help but feel warm and fuzzy all over.
TOWN BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE - Committee EDC works closely with
Under the direction of Parks & Rec, with the assistance of the Economic Development Committee, a sub-committee is forming to take on beautification projects around town. This is an opportunity to put your gardening knowledge and love for the outdoors to good use. This is another committee that will appreciate as little or as much time as you wish to contribute. Whether it is picking up litter in the pocket gardens, planting, pruning or weeding. Tell us what you like to do.
