Volunteering

WONDERING HOW TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

If you are interested in playing an active role in your community, we encourage you to take a look at the following committees and organizations in need of volunteers and feel free to contact them for further information. If you do not see something here of interest, give us a call and we'll help you find what you are looking for.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Events are held regularly in our Town and the Town itself manages 3 of these events. Please email the EDEC  if you are able to be a volunteer so we can put you on our "call out" list: we would appreciate your help.

FAMILY AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES

Do you have an interest in helping people or providing a hand in a community project? FCSS is a Town department that consists of many different community programs designed to assist children, families and seniors as well as provide preventative health, wellness and social services. We are continuously looking for caring individuals to pitch in and give a helping hand where needed.

If you are a local non-profit organization looking for volunteers  or an individual looking to volunteer please contact Suzan at 403.933.4348.
