NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING A DOWNTOWN AREA REDEVELOPMENT PLAN TOWN BLACK DIAMOND, PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Black Diamond, has given first reading to Bylaw 2022-16, the Downtown Area Redevelopment Plan, and will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday December 7, 2022, at 6:30 pm, at the Town Office located at 301 Centre Ave. W, Black Diamond. You may attend the meeting online using the Teams Meeting Link located at the top of the December 7, 2022, Council Meeting Agenda.
The Downtown Area Redevelopment Plan can be viewed on the Town of Black Diamond website www.town.blackdiamond.ab.ca under the NEWS section.
The Downtown Area Redevelopment Plan provides an overall framework for redevelopment of the downtown, with a focus on the following topics: business health; public realm & pedestrian experience; transportation & movement; infrastructure; land use; and building form & design guidelines. An implementation strategy is provided to direct the action necessary to achieve the plan vision
Oral and written comments concerning the proposed Bylaw are invited, as follows. All presentations are subject to a 5-minute time limit.
Written submissions may be made by persons as above, should be typewritten and must be received in the Town Office by 12:00 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2022, for inclusion in the Agenda package.
If you wish to make an online presentation at the hearing, you must register on or before December 5, 2022 at firstname.lastname@example.org and you must submit a digital copy of your presentation materials for the record.
In person presentations may be made at the hearing by any person. Presentations, which are supported by printed documentation, must have 10 copies of the documentation available for distribution.
