Project Green Day

green day

project green dayAfter a 2 year hiatus the Town of Black Diamond Parks and Rec Committee along with the Town of Turner Valley would like to reach out to our Diamond Valley Community and ask for volunteers for our Project Green Day Cleanup.

The event is taking place on Saturday May 28.  We will meet up at 9am at the Scott Seaman Sports Rink gloves in hand and ready to help out.  Clean up will include the River Pathway System, Parks of both towns, the Friendship Trail and the BD Pocket Gardens.  There will also be a lunch to follow at 12pm supplied by the Foothills Lions Club.

If you are interested in more information or are wanting to volunteer please reach out to lesq@town.blackdiamond.ab.ca or moniquel@turnervalley.ca

A special thank you to all our sponsors both the towns of Black Diamond and Turner Valley, Diamond Valley Sustainable Living Centre, Volker Stevin, T&T Disposals, and the Foothills Lions Club.

Can't wait to see you May 28!  Please share and help make this the best Project Green Day yet!
