Event Signs

The town of Black Diamond has double side event signs at all entrances to theevent sign town.

  1. Centre Avenue; East Entrance (by Rona)
  2. Government Road; South Entrance (by hospital)
  3. 5th Street (by Lion's campground)

What you get when you book the signs

  1. One week of advertising on one side of all 3 signs
    1. Reservations are for Tuesday-->Monday
    2. You pick up your letters from the oilfields Regional Arena between 8 am - 4 pm Tuesday
    3. You return your letters the following Monday between 8 am - 4 pm
  2. Each sign holds 5 lines and 16 characters each line
    1. You must submit your wording at the time of booking in order to give the team time to pick your letters for your reservation.
    2. Each line can be a combination of both letters and numbers limited special characters are available
  3. User is responsible for picking up letters from the arena, putting them up on the signboards and returning the letters back to the arena on time.
  4. Cost = FREE for local community groups and non-profits.

All booking requests should be made through the form below or by email. It is advised to get your request in as soon as possible as we are only able to accommodate 2 bookings per sign each week.

Your booking is NOT CONFIRMED until you receive an emailed agreement.

**A $75 deposit cheque is required to hold your reservation; the cheque is not cashed except in the event that the user does not return the letters, the letters are damaged or lost due to negligence.**

  1. Picking a Date

    The date you choose must start on a Tuesday

  2. Only choose if you didn't look at the calendar to make sure your date is available.

  3. Do we have a current deposit cheque (within 1 year)on file?*

  7. Please choose all the other places you would like your event advertised

    If you would like it advertised in The Diamond Newsletter you must submit prior the the 15th of the month prior to your event.

    Until Jan 1, 2023 you must submit to the the Town of Turner Valley for the electronic sign board.

  8. Additional Documentation

    Once your submission has been approved and confirmed, if you have additional documents/pictures you would like to submit, you can do so at the time of approval.  Please review submission guidelines regarding documents for submission.

    Confirmation of your booking is not guaranteed until you receive an email confirmation from our office.
